HOT ROLLED IS 2062 E450 PLATES are readily fabricated and weldable through the usual fabrication and welding techniques. These are majorly drawn from the cold and hot drawing process. At the reducing atmosphere, these plates offer very good resistance to corrosion ability.

The annealing and hot working process achieve the structural plates with no faults. This material is ductile and can be formed readily. The IS 2062 plates are pitting resistive in phosphoric, acetic acid, and other inorganic and organic acids. The cold working operation enhances the strength and toughness, and it also leaves the magnetic properties. These plates in the mild cyclic atmosphere don’t get corroded. It works very well with greatly oxidizing acid-like nitric acid. Also, IS 2062 PLATES serves excellent performance in the sulfur-containing atmosphere. It provides very good services at a high concentration at cryogenic temperatures. Also, it doesn’t need post-welding heat treatment. These plates resist crevice corrosion and pitting at the greater level of chloride atmospheres.
